Philip A. White, Jr.
Philip A. White, Jr. is chief operating officer for Sotheby's International Realty® Affiliates LLC. where he is
responsible for all national operational functions, education, mortgage and regional operations. White brings to
the job 24 years of unique real estate industry experience, having served in both management positions for the
brand as well as an affiliate broker/owner within the Sotheby's International Realty® network. He reports
directly to Michael R. Good, the brand's president and CEO.
Most recently, White was managing broker of the Buckhead office in Atlanta for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage,
one of the most successful offices in the NRT LLC organization worldwide. Prior to this role, White
exemplified entrepreneurial spirit by owning an independent real estate firm called Philip White Properties, Inc.,
a Sotheby's International Realty® affiliate. After four successful years at the helm, he sold his firm to Coldwell
Banker Residential Brokerage in 1992, commencing his long-standing role with NRT.
From 1980 to 1988, White held several positions within Sotheby's International Realty®, Inc. As senior vice president
and regional manager for the Southeast, he was responsible for developing a network of affiliated brokers and listing
and marketing properties in cooperation with affiliated brokers. In addition to holding management positions in both
the New York City and Palm Beach offices, White developed and managed a high-end local brokerage business in the Atlanta
market for the company.
His early career included a stint in the finance industry where he worked for SunTrust Bank trading government and
municipal bonds.
He received his bachelor of science degree in commerce/finance from the University of Virginia in 1978. A veteran,
White served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
