David began his career in real estate during college in California in 1975 and has owned and operated 10 real estate related businesses, including: development, investment and management, escrow, personal coaching, training and consulting, Lindal Cedar Homes and a construction company.

David has been a licensed Realtor® in Utah since 2000 and has over 30 years of experience in real estate. He is currently the owner and director of the Lawson Real Estate team, a team of real estate professionals who he is responsible for managing, training and supervising. The Lawson Real Estate Team consists of a listing agent, buyer's specialists, transaction manager, administrative manager, a full service marketing team and administrative support staff, all working together for the benefit of our clients and developers. David possesses knowledge of Park City's real estate market that is unsurpassed and strives to offer the best professional representation in an ever changing real estate market, without sacrificing old fashioned, personalized service. He prides himself on making your real estate experience fun and educational and he works diligently to achieve your goals.

David is a current member of Park City and Salt Lake City Board of Realtors®. He is a Certified Distressed Property Expert and is knowledgeable in short sales, bank owned and distressed properties. David is married with four sons and six granddaughters. Activities he and his family enjoy together include skiing and snowboarding, riding motorcycles, boating and camping. Other interests include auto racing, flying airplanes, coaching, playing and watching baseball and basketball.
