Betty, a native Montrealer, moved with her husband to Whistler in 1974 when it was just a wide spot on the highway, has watched Whistler grow from its infancy. Betty has a long history in both the community and real estate sales. Betty was the municipality’s first secretary, one of the first directors of the Blackcomb Ski Club, a volunteer for numerous community services and has owned several family operated business in the heart of the community. She and her husband soon realized the potential of Whistler and in 1978 they purchased Rainbow Ski Village and opened Beau’s Restaurant, which was at the time the exclusive fine dining establishment in Whistler. To this day people fondly recall the legendary night skiing and dining experiences enjoyed by all Beau’s. It was at the back of Beau’s Restaurant at Rainbow Ski Village where Betty established her own real estate agency. However, after time, having two small children, a ski hill, restaurant, and a real estate firm to run it soon became evident that Betty had to narrow her focus. Betty chose to devote her energy to the community and the sales and development of real estate in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Betty is respected by both her clients and the entire real estate community for her hard work ethic and high level of integrity. Betty has consistently been a top producing REALTOR® who has met the needs of Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish real estate buyers and sellers since 1979.
