Villa “La Gallietta” is one of the villas that was built in the 18th century, along the west bank of the first basin of Lake Como. The villa features a main building which develops on three floors and a lateral building, on two floors. Adjacent to the main building there is a rustic home, which once used to be used as the property’s stables and staff housing. At the ground floor of the main building there are: the caretakers’ rooms, the laundry room, the boiler room, and another room which presents a central column in granit and a big hall with the original floor and grouted ceilings which leads directly to the garden. Through a stunning hall you have access to the first floor, here again, incredible frescoed ceilings, in perfect conditions. The main themes of these magnificent affrescoes are the ones of Pompeii and the Reneissance. On the second floor there are 7 bedrooms with three bathrooms, and from here you can embrace a breathtaking view of the Lake, the city of Como, and the nearby green hills. The side building features three elegant bedrooms with mosaic floors and vaulted ceilings. In the rustic building, there are the smaller and simpler rooms. The villa has three major private gardens, each surrounded by a stone wall which guarantees the perfect level of privacy to who lives there.
