Dusan Jurkovic´s city villa is monument protected building. It was built about 1924 in very peaceful location of Bratislava castle hill. The location of the building is the most lucrative resident part of Bratislava - Stare Mesto. The villa is located on a quite steep slope of the hill which is a part of the southest part of Male Karpaty. The dominant of the hill is Slavin and also Bratislava Castle. There are historic villa houses built in the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century in this area. The villa has four floors. It contains four separated apartments. A housing area of the flats is 443,10 m2. An area to use is 511,40 m2. The villa has been overally reconstructed, statically provided and it has a new infrastructure. The new reinforced ceillings and connections in a mansard have been installed. A new tile roof with copper parts has been installed. The object has a new health - technical installation, electroinstallation and new gas distribution. Chimneys of the villa have been fixed. New systems of a central heating with a floor heating have been installed. Bathrooms have been modernized by recontruction of a technical equipment and small dispositive transfers in bathroom and additional spaces. The original window and door constructions, decorated fire tiles and some parts of the stairs and floors in the corridors are in the villa. The interior of two floors and a manserd is bare. The third floor is entirely completed. The manserd contains newly built apartment which can be use for living or as an atellier which contains roof windows. The dominated part of the adaptation is fully glassed southern part of the roof with a terrace and a beautiful view to panorama of Stare Mesto. The overall reconstruction included also the outer visual of the building. It has been made in accordance to monument value of the building. The recontruction has been very conservative and it respects all the original characters of the building. New bearing walls and a fence were bult. New trees have been grown and there is fresh grass in the terrace garden. There are some store spaces in part situated to the slope and parking places for 4 or 5 cars on the estate with an area of 561 m2. The villa has two entries from two streets, from both sides of the estate. The city villa can be used as an apartment house or as an representative office building for a company. There is a possibility to buy a separated apartment particularly. The villa is an ideal place for the cilient who appreciate its history, the architectonical solution of the building and the higher level of the historic apartments.
