The elegant front of this property fits perfectly into the stunning ensemble of the surrounding facades. Until 2001, the house was owned and inhabited by the famous architect Helmut Hentrich of HPP, who is well known for the old Thyssen building, also known as the “Dreischeibenhaus”, the Tonhalle, which is the famous music hall in Düsseldorf, and the new soccer arena “Auf Schalke” among others.
After his death, the house was meticulously refurbished by its current owners, who added an underground car park, an elevator and a beautiful structure on the back side carrying the two balconies for the upper floors. The balconies face the magnificent, well-tended garden lined by old trees and are themselves entwined by old wisterias.
