It was 1496, nine years after the Reconquest of Spain when the local governor of Malaga acting in the name of the Catholic Kings handed over to the hermits Fray Antonio and Fray Marco a house that was owned before by an expelled noble Arabian. They turned it into a Hermitage in the name of Ermita de San Anton, in honour of their saint. Since 1860 the Hacienda has been in private hands and today you can own this spectacular property and be part of its history. The facade of the house and the Hermitage can not be changed since it is officially protected, but it is possible to refurbish the inside of the property. Set on a 7000 m2 plot offering stunning Panoramic views over the Bay of Málaga. The house is built around a big patio and offers 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms (4 of them en suite), big living room with a huge open fireplace, guest cloakroom, fully fitted kitchen and dining room. It is tiled with a variety of antique ceramic flooring. We can find also a little Chapel with beautiful ornamental wooden ceiling and picture window. Outside we find a private pool and a spectacular mature garden with many beautiful palm trees. Remarkably, the Hacienda is only 10 minutes from the town centre of Málaga and the beach and it is also possible to acquire aprox. 11.000m2 of the surrounding land.
