For most people, buying or selling a home will be their largest financial transaction. This can be daunting unless someone represents them who will take the time to understand their special needs and explain what they need to know to make informed decisions. Due to her longevity in real estate, Marcy has experienced many different market cycles and has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with complicated transactions and successfully guiding her clients through potential pitfalls.
Marcy Braiker knows the real estate profession inside and out. Throughout her career of over 25 years in real estate she has represented a diverse clientele including celebrities and foreign dignitaries as well as young professionals. Born in Los Angeles, she has extensive knowledge of the history and special characteristics of various Westside communities and feels that working with a broker who is native to the area has its distinct advantages.
Specializing in real estate in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, Holmby Hills, Santa Monica, Westwood and the surrounding areas, Marcy has won the respect of both clients and colleagues. Referrals from satisfied clients and other agents are a large part of her business. She is a member of the local boards of realtors as well as the multiple listing and internet services.
Apart from her real estate career, Marcy is on the boards of directors of the Westside Committee of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Century City Rotary Club (President in 2005), Kids With a Cause, and The Benedict Canyon Homeowners Association. She is also a liaison member to the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council and to the Coalition of Neighborhood Homeowners Associations for Los Angeles Council District 5, which represent over 250,000 homeowners.
Marcy's professionalism, expertise and service to her community are well recognized. She was nominated by the Los Angeles Business Journal as Woman Making a Difference in the field of Philanthropy and was awarded Woman of Achievement by the Century City Chamber of Commerce.
