Ginger Martin enjoys a track record shared by only a handful of real estate professionals globally. Recruited by Sotheby’s International Realty® in 1997 as a founding associate of its now 80 agent strong San Francisco brokerage, she quickly secured her position in the top 1% of the firm’s agents worldwide. After a decade of unprecedented success, Ginger brought her stellar reputation and client roster to the Napa-Sonoma Wine Country where she and her husband own a winery and home.
There, she initiated the opening of Sotheby’s International Realty’s California Wine Country office and immediately established unparalleled standing for her closed transactions on the finest primary and vacation homes, luxury estates, vineyards, and land. Today, while Ginger maintains strong ties with her colleagues and clients in San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, and internationally, her success as a preeminent Napa and Sonoma Valley Realtor flourishes.
Sotheby’s International Realty has named Ginger as a Top 25 Agent for closed transactions in 2013 with over $100 million in sales. In addition, she was ranked in the top 3% out of NRT’s 42,000 Sales Associates. Before 2013, she closed – at $35 million – the highest value residential real estate sale in the history of Sonoma County, followed by sales of the highest value Napa Valley residential properties in 2011 and 2012. The Wall Street Journal named Ginger and her team one of the “Top Teams” in the United States three years in a row – 2010 through 2012. Ginger’s expertise and immense success is no surprise considering the priceless knowledge she gained from her impressive 20-year career as founder and CEO of her own sales and marketing firm.
Her distinguished clients also benefit from her extensive experience with a personal real estate portfolio that includes land and residential purchase, development, construction, management, and sale. In addition to her commitment to her clientele, Ginger is devoted to her community, humanitarian projects, and the arts. She regularly donates a percentage of her sales to a wide range of non-profit organizations including the Sonoma Mentoring Alliance, Sonoma Museum of Modern Art, Napa’s “Festival del Sole,” and Sonoma State University’s Green Music Center and Weill Hall. Globally, she is a significant contributor to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
