The attraction was immediate for Deborah Maxson toward her East Coast-style town with palm trees. For the transplant from New Jersey, Pasadena represented the perfect blending of California's optimal climate with the sense of community and sophistication she missed from her native state.

25 years later Deborah continues to share her passion for all that drew her to Pasadena with homebuyers as an agent with Sotheby's International Realty.

A top-producing Realtor for 18 years, Deborah has worked exclusively in the Pasadena market for more than 20 years with DBL Realtors and now Sotheby's International Realty, which acquired DBL Realtors in 2004. She specializes in properties throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

Deborah's extensive knowledge of the area, both personal and professional, is a recognized benefit to her clients. Having experienced firsthand much of the area's growth, Deborah finds that her clients look for her insight, particularly on new single-family and condominium construction and architecturally significant properties.

Prior, Deborah honed her analytical skills, negotiating prowess and extensive knowledge of the loan process during a 20-year career in banking.

On a professional level, Deborah is a member of the National Association of Realtors and has earned its Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations.

Deborah still enjoys all that Pasadena offers. The moderate climate allows Deborah on a year-round basis to indulge her passions for sailing, golfing and water skiing. She regularly attends California Philharmonic concerts. She thoroughly enjoys entertaining and wine and is an active member of the Society of Wine Educators.

Eager to give back to the community, Deborah has served on the board of directors for Hospice of Pasadena and Salvation Army. She helped form and works with Pasadena Association of Realtors Non-Profit, which serves the local community and continually raises over $100,000 per year.
