Michael is originally from Houston, TX. He attended American University and pursued a Bachelors degree in International Affairs. After school, Michael continued on a successful career in management. Michael utilized his communication, negotiation, training, and sales skills while training and building elite teams of salespeople at high profile companies such as; Apple, Pottery Barn, and The Sports Club/LA. In this capacity, he won many awards and was recognized for his leadership and sales skills. With over 10 years of sales experience, Michael chose to follow his passion and pursue a career in real estate with Sotheby's International Realty.
Michael enjoys immersing himself in all that the DC, VA, and MD markets have to offer and translates that into a knowledge base for his clients. When not working, Michael enjoys cooking and entertaining, movies, live music, fitness, and his Miniature Pincher, Parker. Michael is a dedicated yogi and an avid runner having completed several races including his first marathon in 2010. Michael has called DC home since 2003. He lives in Shaw and writes for several Shaw blogs and publications and serves on the Design Committee for the Shaw Main Streets organization. Michael was appointed in 2013 to the DC Association of Realtors Communication Committee. Additionally, Michael serves on the Board of Directors of The DC Center for the LGBT Community and is very active in with the Lupus Foundation of America.
