"The kindest act you can do for someone is to listen to their story, because everyone has a story." So says Matt Lucky. And if your 'story' involves real estate, then you're in luck, because for Matt, the most rewarding aspect of his work is listening to his clients, taking care of their every need and protecting their interests throughout what can often be a lengthy process.
Matt, who partners with his wife Lisa, says that if he had chosen another profession, it probably would have been teaching. "Giving others skill and knowledge empowers them to do things they otherwise couldn't or wouldn't do. That's why I'm more than happy to spend however much time it takes to make 100-percent sure that my clients are well-informed and well-guided as we journey together through what to most people is the largest single financial transaction they will ever make."
Matt's trustworthy combination of honesty, genuineness and commitment to his clients has earned him well-deserved high praise, a few nuggets of which can be found on this real estate power-couple's award-winning website, LisaLucky.com. "You simply did a great job for us," one comment begins. "Particularly impressive, besides your pleasant and diligent demeanor, are all the additional things you did for us in our absence. You can be sure that we would highly recommend you in a flash to any of our friends."
Matt, who earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and his MBA from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, is an avid hiker and golfer. He is a former McDowell Sonoran Preserve steward and spends a considerable amount of time volunteering for Friends of Pinnacle Peak Park, including serving on the Board and editing the organization's newsletter. "I'm continually amazed by the variety of plants and animals found in the high Sonoran desert and how they've adapted to their environment. The abundant bio-diversity is unique and we need to preserve an undisturbed open-space system to ensure their survival."
Matt and Lisa are residents of the North Scottsdale community of Troon Village and enjoy focusing their sales efforts in the same area of the Valley that they call home. Their daughter, Laura Lucky, with the same hard work ethic joined them full time in June 2012 after graduating in Marketing with an International Business Certificate from Arizona State University.
