Merlene has lived in Princeton for over 30 years and her experience as a business owner and community volunteer makes her knowledge of the local area market especially strong. Her relationships with both buyers and sellers are strengthened by past experiences in professional service businesses. She joined the real estate industry after eighteen years as a partner in Tucker Associates, an executive search consulting firm in Princeton. Previously, she had served in management assignments after moving to Princeton from Kansas City, Mo., with her family. Since 2002 Merlene has been an active volunteer for the Historical Society of Princeton, serving on committees including personnel, executive director search, gala events, and the annual antiques and fine arts show. She will Chair the 2008 Historic House Tour. Previously she served as a Trustee of McCarter Theatre 1995-2002 as an officer and member of its Executive Committee, as well as serving on various committees. Her rose garden is a special avocation. Merlene is also a breast cancer survivor. Merlene's listings and sales range from single-residential homes to condominiums to historically important Princeton estates. She has been awarded the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designation by the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council, and specializes in addressing the unique needs of senior property owners.
