Rick Distel

CalBRE# 01933993
Real Estate Professional in Palm Springs, California
United States

Rick Distel's association with Sotheby's International Realty began when he joined William Pitt Sotheby's as an agent in Connecticut and New York. In 2013, he earned his California license to meet the needs of bicoastal and international homeowners and investors and provide seamless service to Sotheby's discerning clientele. He offers buyers and sellers nearly three decades of unparalleled high-value real estate experience, concierge-level attention and a superb sense of design - and with a passion for luxury marketing and reverence for the brand, Distel leverages HôM Sotheby's outstanding online and print collateral to reach discriminating buyers and network brokers around the world. A devoted modernist, Distel and his partner own a restored Alexander in Vista Las Palmas designed by William Krisel and he has represented signature properties designed by masters of the architecture world including Marcel Breuer, Addison Mizner and John Johansen. (His 2013 sale of Breuer's iconic "Stillman II" broke a five-year sales record in the area.) He volunteers for Palm Springs' Modernism Week and is a member of the Palm Springs Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors in addition to his East Coast memberships. Distel is also a Federal Club member of the Human Rights Campaign.
