A lead member of the Sakkis and Sanders Team, Katherine has been a real estate professional since 1990 working with Coldwell Banker and Prudential among others; she earned numerous designations and performance awards. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from State University of New York at Albany.
Katherine achieved the Chairman's Circle award for sales in the top 2% nationwide of Prudential agents nationwide. A member of the Women's Council of REALTORS®, she was awarded their Beacon Award for Top Volume & Transactions, Hillsborough County from 2006-2012. She also earned the elite Certified Residential Specialist designation-held by only 3% of agents worldwide.
Before her career in real estate, she worked as a financial manager at Burroughs and as a stockbroker for Smith Barney, E.F. Hutton and Dean Witter.
A devoted volunteer for community endeavors, Katherine served as board member for the Children's Museum of Tampa; was the founder and original Race Director of the Tampa Children's Run, now known as the Jr. Gasparilla Distance Classic; served on PTA boards in many South Tampa schools, and as Chairperson of the Tampa Greek Festival.
She is a member of the Greater Tampa Association of REALTORS®, the Florida Association of REALTORS (FAR), and the National Association of REALTORS®, the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, South Shore Chamber of Commerce, Florida Chamber of Commerce and United States Chamber of Commerce.
