A co-founder of the Sakkis Group, Katherine Sakkis has been a real estate professional since 1990, working with various leading real estate companies. She earned numerous designations and performance awards. Katherine has a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from State University of New York at Albany.
Katherine achieved the Chairman's Circle award for sales in the top two percent of agents nationwide at her previous company. A member of the Women's Council of REALTORS®, she was awarded their Beacon Award for Top Volume and Transactions, Hillsborough County from 2006-2015. Katherine also earned the elite Certified Residential Specialist designation, held by only three percent of agents worldwide.
Before her career in real estate, she worked as a financial manager at Burroughs and as a stockbroker for Smith Barney, E.F. Hutton and Dean Witter.
A devoted volunteer for community endeavors, Katherine served as board member for the Children's Museum of Tampa. She was the founder and original race director of the Tampa Children's Run, now known as the Jr. Gasparilla Distance Classic. Katherine also served on PTA boards in many South Tampa schools, and as chairperson of the Tampa Greek Festival.
She is a member of the Greater Tampa Association of REALTORS®, the Florida Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, The Women's Council of Realtors, Council of Residential Specialists and the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
