Wyatt Sharphorn

Real Estate Professional in Austin, Texas
United States

Wyatt Sharphorn has been an Austin resident for over ten years, although his first time searching for homes here began twenty years ago while visiting family and falling in love with the eclectic and beautiful neighborhoods this unique city has to offer and imagining what it would be like to live in this fine town.

That fascination with luxury homes continued as Wyatt spent most of his twenties in Los Angeles writing screenplays and working for independent producers. He would often spend time brainstorming for projects by driving through the canyons not only dreaming up his next comedy idea, but also studying the wonderful array of architecture Los Angeles has in it’s many famously beautiful neighborhoods and homes.

Coming “back” to Austin over ten years ago, Wyatt’s interest in home design and real estate led to him being commissioned as a designer on a development of “hill country modern” homes, during which time he was lead designer on four custom homes, one of which is near completion as of spring 2017.

After receiving his real estate license, Wyatt trained under seasoned agents and by his second year was a multi-million dollar producer.

Wyatt focuses on the luxury market in the Eanes school district, Barton Creek, Tarrytown, Zilker, Northwest Hills, and downtown condominiums. He also considers himself highly knowledgeable of both Lake Austin and Lake Travis, having fished “probably every single dock” on both lakes over the years. However, he applies an obsessive focus to each and every client’s need, regardless of location and price point. He takes passion in providing honest, full-time, true luxury service, and feels each client deserves his complete attention and time.

Wyatt enjoys spending time with his three nieces, two whippets, and parents who also live in Austin. Wyatt and his father, who is general counsel of the University of Texas System, are tournament bass fisherman, although they will be the first to tell you they generally “have no idea what they are doing” while fishing in a tournament, and their few wins amount mostly to some “dumb luck” and “naïve optimism” on the water. Wyatt’s first job was as an assistant at Car and Driver magazine in his hometown of Ann Arbor, and he remains a passionate car enthusiast to this day.

If you are looking for someone to take care of your needs with an absolute commitment to the finest service possible, and a deep, personal passion for connecting people with their needs in finding or selling a home properly, with integrity, creativity, an eye for design, and results, contact Wyatt any time – he sleeps with his cell phone in his pocket and never considers himself “closed for business.” You just might have some fun with him along the way as well.
