I love the challenge of finding the right buyers for my listings and perfect properties for my buyer clients. It's incredibly satisfying to facilitate a successful match and help clients achieve their goals. I also enjoy the process of preparing my listings for the market, showcasing their best features with expert home staging and professional photography. A buyer's first viewing is online, so high-quality photos are very important. And visiting properties in person, as a buyers' agent, is a great way to get to know local market inventory and stay tuned into what buyers' want. I believe that the key to my success as a seasoned agent is a combination of availability, attention to detail and good communication with both sellers and buyers. Over the years, I've genuinely enjoyed the excitement of first-time buyers and I really do understand the needs of empty nesters and retirees.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
I launched my real estate sales career in 1987 and, just a few years later, joined Tate & Foss, where I've enjoyed great success and had the pleasure of working with many wonderful people. I take great pride in the many referrals and repeat business that I have received from satisfied clients. One of the highlights of my professional life prior to real estate was as a flight attendant for American Airlines, where I was fortunate to have special assignments that included traveling with Mrs. Lyndon 'Lady Bird' Johnson and her White House staff. What an honor! I also worked at South Shore Hospital for six years and graduated from the SSH School of Radiologic Technology (affiliated with Northeastern University).
COMMUNITY & PERSONALITY:
While working for American Airlines in New York, I met my husband Tom who is a native of Portsmouth. We relocated to the Seacoast area, where we have lived for over 40 years. We're lucky to have our children living nearby and I especially enjoy my days with our three-year old grandson Will. Tom and I often take our rescue dog Frankie to Peirce Island Dog Park where we have met many wonderful friends. We have been very active in efforts to preserve Seacoast quality of life, including the battle to stop Aristotle Onassis from building the world's largest refinery in Durham with a tanker docking site at the Isles of Shoals and a pipeline running through Rye. We also worked very hard to conserve the land known as Parson's Field in the center of Rye. I love playing bridge and am taking lessons at a wonderful club in North Hampton. I'm also a member of The Music Hall.
'I wanted to commend you for your professionalism regarding my property. You have gone above and beyond, struggling through knee high snow, sleet/rain, bitter cold, etc., to show the property. You know that property almost as well as I do! You have made numerous suggestions and been very supportive with my ideas. I could not have asked for a better representation of that house! You are the epitome of a broker in that you share, guide and suggest. I could not have been more pleased! You also have become a valued friend.'
