Laura brought her seasoned business, sales and marketing skills to the world of real estate after 25 years in international fashion design as creator and marketer of her own award-winning labels. She made a dramatic impact in the real estate industry as Creative Director for Kurfiss Realty in Pennsylvania in 2002, spearheading impactful marketing strategies and holding exclusive private events that would powerfully position Kurfiss in the marketplace. When Kurfiss changed its franchise branding to Sothebys International Realty, Laura launched a new marketing strategy, and empowered the companys agents to excel in the new business model. She later lent her ingenuity in the role of Creative Director of Marketing for Mountain Country Ranches Land and Homes in Colorado.
When Laura ultimately began selling wonderful properties as an agent, she instantly rose to success as a top producer serving a discerning clientele who relies on her exemplary service ethic and marketing prowess. Prior to bringing her seasoned skills to the Sarasota marketplace, she was credited for selling the highest priced estate in Bucks County as well as historic hotels and restaurants, not to mention many luxury homes. Laura came to Premier Sothebys from Coldwell Banker in St. Armands Circle. She has enjoyed the beauty of Sarasota since 1984, and purchased a home on the downtown waterfront in 2005.
Originally from Glen Rock, New Jersey and Lenox, Massachusetts, Laura earned a BA degree from Wheaton College, plus completed a language program at the University of Barcelona. She speaks fluent Spanish, some Portuguese, and has had the privilege of traveling the world. She is a former President of Le Chateau Associationa member of the Ringling Museum, Sarasota Yacht Club, and has been involved with fundraising for the Southeast Guide Dogs. She enjoys cooking, gardening, boating, entertaining, writing and visiting the elderly.
