Adrienne passed her Estate Agents Board exam in 1990 and fell in love with the industry. She feels truly blessed because “I love what I do and I do what I love” every single day and no two days are the same! Born in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia) she came to Cape Town University and studied Speech & Drama and English. This is the best training an estate agent could have, she quips, especially the “drama” part. She has been an agent for 22 years. She loves the different houses she sees every day, the décor, the gardens, the people and the architecture. She feels that every house has its own beauty, even if sometimes a bit hidden. She lives to negotiate. Having worked in Hout Bay for 16 years, where she had her own property company called Property Depot, she moved over the mountains to join Sotheby’s International Realty and sell in Newlands for four years. She loved the serenity and the trees in Newlands, but selling seaside homes has always been her passion, so when she moved to sell property in False Bay, selling in Simon’s Town, Glencairn, Welcome Glen, Glencairn Heights, Kalk Bay & St James she was in heaven. She loves the clean air, the way houses climb up the mountains, the beautiful clear seas in rocky coves and inlet beaches. And of course the open, friendly people who live in harmony with the waves.
