Robert has been working for more than 25 years in the commercial and residential real estate business, including finance, accounting and auditing. He first began his career as an Internal Auditor for one of the largest real estate companies in New York and there learned the fundamentals of the business. He then was promoted to be the Controller for a publicly traded REIT, that owned and managed over 5,000,000 sq ft of office space based in New York, Chicago and New Jersey. More recently he was the VP of Finance for a principal owner/developer whose portfolio included primarily retail and residential properties. This background has given him the knowledge and good sense of what needs to be done to close a deal in real estate. He now brings this experience to Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Real Estate to assist his clients in all aspects of their real estate dealings. A life long resident of Long Island, first on the North Shore and for the past ten years in Garden City, Robert has a passion for the business. He has supervised the complete renovation of his home in Garden City, and also was intimately involved in the building and subsequent addition to his home on the east end of the Long Island. He is stays active in the community, loves to play golf, and plays guitar in his spare time.
