Jack Conant is a very hands-on leader who is as focused on building relationships as he is on building business. He is responsible for managing William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty's Essex and Mystic offices; Jack feels strongly that supporting the talent and nurturing the potential of his agents is the key to the quality service and the results they in turn provide their clients.
In 2005, the premium Sotheby's International Realty brand came to the Connecticut shoreline and joined forces with William Pitt Real Estate, a long standing, well respected company originating in Stamford. William Pitt was a pillar of his community and was largely responsible for the growth of Stamford. At that time four offices were opened along the shoreline: Madison, Guilford, Essex and Stonington. In late 2010 the Stonington office moved to a high visibility location in Mystic. The offices enjoy a number one market share in their respective markets. Jack has a passion for the business and his goal is aligned with that of William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty.
"We strive for an unsurpassed degree of service excellence, regardless of the price point, plus a winning team environment for our agents. It is critical that they have the best tools, training and resources at their disposal to serve our clients, and I am here to support them in any way I can to ensure their success."
Jack is known for his fairness, high ethical standards, open door policy and total commitment to his agents and their clients.
In the real estate profession since 1985, first as an agent and then as an owner of two Century 21 franchises Jack has been in the office manager role since 2001. He has always been active in the business, having served in leadership positions both at the local board level and with CAR. His particular interest is professional standards and firmly believes that high integrity and ethical standards are the foundation of our business. He is a trained mediator and in 2000 was honored as the Connecticut State REALTOR of the Year. As a result of his involvement, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the business, which he is eager to share. His many contacts throughout the state provide opportunities for business and networking.
Jack lives by the beach in East Haven and is the proud father of three children and grandfather of four grandchildren.
