As a Realtor® Kathy draws from her past experiences in education, both of which developed insights into relationships. Her educational background includes a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Special Education and a Masters in Counseling Psychology.Maintaining her License as a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist she has retired after 31 years in education as a counselor for Alamo Heights Junior School. She is now actively pursuing a full time career in real estate. She now uses the same dedication, work ethic and enthusiasm as she did in her educational setting. Kathy is an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist who enjoys selling or locating the perfect home that best fits her client's individual needs.Kathy strives to be an active part of her community. She and her husband are members of the Witte Museum, Spurs Charter, World Affairs Council, Patrons of the McNay Art Museum and founding members of the San Antonio Opera. Kathy also belongs to the Friends of Hospice, Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce, Monte Vista Homeowners Association and the Women's Leadership Council.Kathy not only brings the knowledge of her years as a Realtor®, but her own personal experience of buying and selling property through her husband's personal investment business. Hence, she understands the emotional roller coaster that can come when doing real estate transactions. Her goal is to make the journey both safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.
