John S. Lenihan, the Principal Broker is the sole owner of Lenihan Real Estate LLC, dba Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty, specializing in a unique market of residential sales. Through John's foresight, he opened Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty to meet and exceed the expectations of his clients. Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty understands how to fully implement the needs of their clients resulting in a successful and highly respected presence on a triangle of local, national and global markets. John strongly believes his firm encompasses the standards and dominance of a world market which is greatly needed in Louisville. Lenihan Sotheby's International Realty has raised the bar to an unprecedented level. John is also the founder and managing partner of Rubel Lenihan Properties (RLP). Begun in 1982, RLP develops and manages industrial warehouse properties around Louisville International Airport. Concurrent with management of RLP, Mr. Lenihan was President of Dixie Beer Distributors (1981 - 1987) Kentucky's largest beer wholesaler; Omni Air (1981-1985) Kentucky's largest PT135 Charter Service; TopTalent (1985-1989) temporary employment service and Harvest Leasing Corporation (1981-1995) equipment leasing. Mr. Lenihan graduated with a BA from Centre College in Danville, KY (1979); graduated from Manufacturers Hanover Trust (New York) Commercial Lending School (1980); and attended graduate school at New York University and University of Louisville.
