Norwich is representative of an unspoiled country town replete with a sense of community and New England traditions that run deep. The venerable Appalachian Trail runs straight through the center of both towns which are recognized by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as official AT Trail Communities due to the efforts they make on behalf of each seasons through hikers.
