




This game farm/nature reserve is located in the Ladismith district of the Klein Karoo and measures more than 2800 hectares on 21 separate title deeds. Various species of game have been introduced to the reserve such as Eland, Zebra, Kudu, Springbuck, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Duikers and Leopard among others. The reserve is fenced with a game fence of 1.8 meters high as it is very important to keep the game enclosed in the reserve. Extent: Approximately 2800 Hectares (7000 acres) Game: 40 x Zebras, 10 x Red Hartebeest, 40 x Eland (Taurotragus Oryx), 30 x Kudu, 10 x Gemsbok (Oryx Gazella). Some Springbok, Leopard, Steenbok, Duikers and Klipspringers are also present on the farm but it is not possible to establish accurate populations for these species, 118 different bird species. Agricultural Activities: 30 Hectares planted with Lucerne under irrigation. Buildings: Large historical homestead (circa 1860), guest cottage, manager's house, 2 staff cottages and shed. Water: 30 Hectare listed water rights from the Gamka River; and water available from the mountain stream.
