Connie and her husband Bill moved to Petoskey 17 years ago. Their love of northern Michigan, and all that it has to offer, was the determining factor in their decision. Connie has held a Real Estate license since the early eighties, formerly with Century 21. While taking time off to raise two beautiful daughters, Connie owned and operated a home-based business for 10 years. For the past 8 years, Connie has spent numerous hours volunteering for Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity (NMHFH). She currently serves as the Board Secretary and is a member of the Site Selection Committee. For the past 5 years Connie served as the chairperson for The Church Hammers, an affiliate of NMHFH, building homes in Emmet and Charlevoix counties. Connie is a member of The Petoskey Area Garden Club and her local church. Connie's other interests include traveling, participating in marathons, biking, boating, golfing, collecting Petoskey stones, and solving puzzles of all kinds. In her spare time, Connie attends her local college and takes classes of interests, some of which include Spanish, oil painting, Interpersonal Communication, E-commerce and Retail Management. After Bill's retirement, Connie and Bill traveled and settled into their second home in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. When in Cabo, Connie spends many volunteer hours teaching the English language to the local children. Through the purchase and donations of many books, Connie was able to establish a bi-lingual library for the children in their school. In the summer months Connie and Bill divide their time between northern Michigan and Beaver Island.
