After graduating from Castleton State College with a BA in Art, and a short stint working in arts administration in Washington, DC, I returned to Vermont in 1986 with my husband to raise my family. I worked for many years for the Addison Central Supervisory Union, first as a classroom instructional assistant at the Bridport Central School and then for eight years in the art department at the Mary Hogan School. I loved working with the children, forging relationships with their families, collaborating with my colleagues, and sharing new ideas. As an artist I enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and to help children embrace their own creativity.I chose to pursue a career in real estate because it brings together many of my strengths and passions. First and foremost, I love working with people. I look forward to getting to know people and helping them with their real estate transactions as buyers and sellers. I recognize that these are often life transitions for the buyer or seller and I look forward to helping people through the process.I also love real estate from an artistic standpoint. I love looking at homes. Any home, whether big or small is a person's artistic and aesthetic statement. I have always had a passion for architectural design and ho me decorating. I look forward to sharing this passion with my clients, helping them present their homes in the best way to future owners and to help future owners see the possibilities that a home offers.I reside in Cornwall with my husband, John Nordmeyer, where we raised our three daughters, Ann, Marley, and Emma. In my free time I enjoy hiking, gardening, the arts, and equine activities.
