Ginger Island offers spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and Sir Francis Drake Channel. From it's hill tops one can view approximately fifteen of the other islands found in the British Virgin Islands. Situated between Virgin Gorda and Cooper Island, south of Tortola and Beef Island, it has easy access to airport or ferry connections. The island has a large heart shaped bay located on the south side. Currently only a few experienced sailors will attempt to enter the bay and enjoy it as a private retreat. This is of great advantage to any developer who wishes to maintain client privacy and seclusion. Underwater dredging and blasting would be required to make the access easier for an increase of boat traffic. A suggested scope of development could be a private resort similar to those found on Peter, Necker or Guana Islands. Phenomenal dive sites and spectacular snorkeling surround the island.
