You've just crossed the Dawhoo Bridge over an expansive marsh and the Intracoastal Waterway, you feel it now, that sense of relaxation, the tension leaving your body, and you're here, Edisto Island! Not far from the house now, only a short dive through more pristine views of the Lowcountry of coastal South Carolina. You turn into your private secluded resort of Fishing Creek. Pulling up under your elevated home, on over one acre on a small lagoon, there it is - your boat. You'll be out in the rivers and creeks soon; fishing, crabbing, tossing a cast net for shrimp or just motoring and enjoying the wildlife and views. Maybe you'll just beach the boat on a secluded island and catch a few rays! As you park your car here below the house, you see that there is plenty of room for a golf cart, guest parking or just piddling about. You're feeling a bit tired and decide to send your gear up the elevator and unload. What a wonderful place you have: 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, with the master bedroom on the main floor. Spacious and bright as you enter, you toss the keys on the granite counter top next to that great gas stove top in a wonderfully appointed kitchen, and glance over at the breakfast nook. You slip off your shoes, feeling the coolness of the gleaming wood floors and then decide to slip into your bathing suit, head out the screened porch, and take a dip or a few laps in your (heated in the winter) salt water pool. What will you do next? Well, thats up to you. You might grill out or make the short run to the beach to dine out at the outstanding seafood restaurants. Maybe you'll take a drive into Charleston to catch a play or enjoy an Art Walk. But don't stay out too late; you have an early tee time in the morning at one of the challenging golf courses close by. You live on Edis-slow, its a lifestyle: your island lifestyle in your beautiful home.
