Although a native of Westchester County, Mark spent much of his childhood in Manhattan. After obtaining his real estate license at the age of 19, he earned a BA in Mass Communications and Journalism from New York University and later founded the extremely successful Cafeteria, Delicatessen and macbar restaurants.
