After graduating from Horace Mann School in 1983, Amanda continued to earn a BA from Barnard College in 1987 and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1991. Following graduate school, she moved to Greenwich and commuted to New York to pursue a career in strategic planning for Bertelsmann. During this time, Amanda began to appreciate Greenwich's prime location through the convenience of her own commute.
