Julia Diaz-Asper has been practicing real estate since 1986, specifically in Georgetown and other Upper Northwest Washington neighborhoods. Originally from Cuba, she and her family migrated to the US in 1960. She later attended Georgetown University, not realizing that this community would become her home for the next thirty years. She continues to stay involved with numerous organizations in and around Georgetown. She chairs the Board at Book Hill Park, serves on the Board of the Georgetown Library, helps the homeless through the Georgetown Ministry, and donates to the Georgetown House Tour and the Georgetown Garden Club. She has also maintained her position on the Board of the Art Museum of the Americas.
Julia's international background and connections have afforded her a successful business that spans across the East Coast, specifically between Miami and Washington. But her home is Georgetown. Having raised four children in Washington, who have now given her nine grandchildren, she stays rooted in this community. Julia enjoys tennis, entertaining, cooking and travel.
