I am Nicki Herrington. While I am proud of my Indiana roots, I feel more like a lifelong St. Louisan. I raised my family here. I have been the proud owner of homes in the Central West End, Clayton, and Webster Groves. I am a real estate professional who truly believes in and invests in the community in which I live. I have owned 9 homes, 5 in St. Louis, each one of them renovated by me. I have a passion for what I do and I am energized by using my experience to make the home buying and selling process enjoyable seamless, and memorable for the clients I serve.
I acquired my real estate broker's license in 1985. I carry the CRS and GRI designations and I am also a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club. I listen carefully to the needs of clients and educate them on what is a good opportunity and one that should be avoided. I consider myself to be a skilled and committed advocate for my clients, whether negotiating a deal, working with an inspector or understanding the subtle nuances of a contract. I grade myself on one thing, the satisfaction and success of my clients.
I have been fortunate in my career, and in turn, I have always believed that a person's character is tied directly to what she gives back as a volunteer. It has been my privilege to have acted as a major fundraiser for my children's schools. I also co-chaired two bond issues for the Clayton School District and the city of Clayton, served on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Additional community involvement includes: interview board for the hiring of new police officers, chairman of the Housing Task Force for the City of Clayton, Board of Directors for the St. Louis Art Fair for six years, and my proudest achievement, president of the commission that oversaw the design and build of the recreation center for the City of Clayton. I've enjoyed my involvement on the fundraising committee for the St. Louis Children's Hospital, and I am a proud foster parent for kittens for the APA, the Animal Protection Association.
My other passions include world travel and art. I have been to 28 countries and add one or two a year to my list. I love learning about and seeing art when I travel and when I am home. I am a member of the RKR art club that meets at the St. Louis Art Museum. I love what I do, and the many referrals I receive from clients who have benefited from my services will attest to it. It would be my privilege to have the opportunity to represent you in one of the most important decisions of your life; selling your home or procuring a new home for you and yours.
