Stephen grew up in the Pacific Northwest, spent five years in San Francisco working for Levi's then moved to New York to explore all the Big Apple had to offer. Working in the apparel design business for 22 years, he traveled extensively in Asia and Europe, exploring a myriad of customs and cultures. Combined with his natural interest in history, his movement and travels have given him a unique perspective on the world.
In 2003 Stephen met his husband, Addison, and for several years they split their time between Manhattan, where they both worked, and their weekend home in Roxbury, Connecticut. Like many couples, they eventually decided to share their lives with children and in 2008 became adoptive parents to two delightful brothers, Ricky and Ryan. Wanting the boys to have some woods in which to run and play, the family made Roxbury their permanent home. Stephen spent four years as a stay at home dad helping their boys settle into their new life and enjoy the many activities to be found in Litchfield County.
With his husband taking a position with a company near Hartford, and their two sons entering into the teen-age years where trees would likely not be as interesting as a more urban playground, Stephen moved his family up to the vibrant town of West Hartford. The family loves living in this town and enjoys exploring the wonderful restaurants, shops and various activities to be found here.
Having lived in a variety of locations and understanding the evolving needs of a couple or family, Stephen is able to see the potential in any home. He is committed to providing his clients with personal and continual support to make the selling or purchase of a home as stress free and as enjoyable as possible. Stephen is thrilled to be part of Sotheby's International Realty's network of incredible agents. In 2013 he was named Rookie of the Year.
