À propos de cette propriété

Between 1927 and 1936, Josef Frank designed five houses in Falsterbo. We now have the pleasure of acting as the broker for the last and largest of these five. Since it was built in 1936, the house has had only two owners, the current one having been in title since 1946. With its 325 m2, this house is a masterpiece of functionalism that clearly reflects the personal vision and style of the architect. The layout is perfect for a large family with many friends and acquaintances, and provides all that such a lifestyle requires. All the details and ingenious solutions, the abundant light, the wonderful terraces facing south and west, the beautiful fireplaces, and the large rooms for entertaining and socializing combine to make this house unique. As soon as you stand in the entrance hall, you know just who designed this house. The large round window facing the garden on the opposite side of the house, and the black and white floors, are typical features of the style of architecture known as functionalism. From this hall, we enter the more public part of the house, which reaches out toward the garden by its ceiling to floor window. This area of the house consists of a dining room that seats 20, and the oblong living room with large bay windows and a fireplace at one of its ends. The living room has two doors out to the garden and adjacent patios. Next to the entrance hall, there’s a stairway up to the top floor, from where you can see the living and dining room. The upper floor consists of two drawing rooms, a fireplace, and access to the two terraces that face south and west, respectively. The western balcony is currently glassed in with a wall toward the east. On the ground floor next to the dining room is the spacious kitchen section composed of a large, white, fully equipped SieMatic kitchen, a pantry with a dishwasher, a maid’s room, and a scullery, as well as a small room and stairway leading down to the little cellar, where there is a storage area and boiler room. The kitchen section has its own entrance from the back of the house. The sleeping area, which is located in the eastern part of the house, has a total of six bedrooms, of which one is a master bedroom with direct connection to a large dressing rum and an en suite bathroom. This section of the house also includes a lovely family room with a fireplace and access to the garden. All the bedrooms have a sink with hot and cold water. The garden is extensive, measuring 2,242 m2, and oriented in a south-west direction. It boasts abundant greenery including a Japanese garden, an undulating lawn, and a play house, also designed by Josef Frank. Wonderful Falsterbo Beach is only a stone’s throw from the house, with the golf course about 200 metres away. This is an opportunity to acquire a fantastic house with the best location in Falsterbo.
