One of the finest equestrian experiences in North America is only a short trip away from the heart of Fort Worth. This property is truly unique and cohesive in design and functionality. Resting on over 340 acres in Eastern Parker County, this flexible facility currently operates as a cutting horse ranch, but could as seamlessly adaptable for any horse discipline, including all English and Western disciplines and racehorses. All of the buildings and several of the residences on the ranch were designed by renowned San Antonio architects Lake Flato, and the facility won the 2011 Texas Architect Award for design and functionality. The buildings on site include a main ranch house with three bedrooms, a two bedroom manager or guest house, a trainer’s house, a four bedroom farmhouse with studio cottage, and four staff apartments close to the barns and facility. Plus, there is even a one bedroom log cabin as well as a two bedroom stone ranch hand house. An entertainment pavilion has a screened dining area, full kitchen, and bath making this more than just a horse facility—it is also a perfect entertaining escape outside of the city. The training facility is world class and unmatched. The indoor riding arena is a 300 foot by 140 foot building that includes a bathroom, storage, and viewing areas. The training and show barn features amenities for both humans and ponies. The main office also houses a conference room, efficiency kitchen area and bath, an employee break-room with screened porch, and a washer and dryer. The barn has twenty-two stalls, two wash stalls with in-floor heat and overhead radiant heat, a tack-up area, tack room, two stall bedding storage rooms and two feed storage rooms. There is also a veterinarian exam area with stocks and medical supply storage. As the heat comes in the Texas summer, large fans in the alleys and stalls, automatic watering systems, and automatic fly control systems keep the horses comfortable. The stalls also have individual lights with timers. The mare barn, or multi-use barn, has twelve stalls. Each has individual run outs, automatic watering units inside and out, an indoor and outdoor wash area, a tack room, additional veterinary lab, and a breeding room with stocks for mare and foal. The barn also includes an office with bath. For the horses that need rehabilitation, there is a hydro barn with an underwater treadmill and isolation stalls. The barn includes large fans and radiant heat. In addition to the fabulous facilities for the horses, there are also ample storage facilities on the property including a large hay barn and a storage building with air-conditioned work space, outdoor covered work area, and room to store trucks, trailers, or a bus. The storage building also has an air-conditioned gym. The pasture system is pipe fenced. They have automatic watering systems, they are all irrigated, and they have been regarded over time and sprigged with Coastal Bermuda grass. The pastures also have individual shelters. There is a storm drainage system around the facility, and all electrical power, phone service has been buried underground. No poles or wires disrupt the elegant view of rolling pastures. And if this facility did not have everything you could imagine, it also features two cattle loading areas with chutes and two ponds stocked with fish!
