A proposito di Laura Huntsman

Professionista immobiliare in Princeton, NJ

Laura moved to Princeton in 1983, from Boston, by way of Virginia and Washington, DC. She attended the National Cathedral School for Girls, graduated from The College of William and Mary with a degree in Philosophy, Psychology and a minor in Theatre, and went on to get her Master's degree in Theatre from The University of Virginia.

She did post-graduate work at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, and then spent the next 20 years in the world of professional theatre; in Boston, Princeton, (at McCarter Theatre from 1983-1999), and in New York City - with several years at the Williamstown Theatre Festival sprinkled in between. She acted, directed and was a theatre professor and lecturer at Marymount Manhattan College, TCNJ and Princeton University. She created the McCarter Theatre Youth Conservatory and Training Wing in 1989, and was McCarter's master acting teacher for many years.

She made a major career change in 1999, after her son, Jeremy, was born, and left McCarter to work for Tod Peyton, at Peyton Associates in Princeton. There, she and her cohorts had a long and successful run, until Tod retired and closed up shop. On to N.T. Callaway she went, and now, Callaway has joined with Henderson, and here she is. She has been in real estate now for 13 years, and has always been at the very top, in the company of a select group of top producers, in both of her former companies.

Laura is a mix of diametrically opposed DNA. On her mother's side of the family, she's a direct cousin of Ernest Hemingway. On her father's, there's her political Utah Huntsman clan. She brings to the real estate world a personality, and a smorgasbord of skills, that combine in a way that just works perfectly, as the full-time, highly professional Realtor she is. She knows how to "kick in" to her in-depth information-gathering mode, (that can only be described as its own episode of "HSI" - "home scene investigation"). She diagnoses situations and issues, in a manner akin to TV's Dr. House, and she can be a 'terrier on a pant leg', when she needs to be. Her always on-target "people skills" and uber-savvy negotiating skills are something she was born with, and perfected through many years of traveling the world with her parents, (her father was a newspaper owner and Editor, and on the board of the Associated Press). She grew up surrounded by journalists, celebrities, attorneys and teachers. It has definitely shaped who she is and how she goes about her work. It sets her apart. She's smart, funny and quick-witted, leaves no stone unturned, and is at the top of her game, and has been, for years. Above all, she has the utmost integrity, in every facet of her work, and is always discreet. She is choosy about her clients, and always serves them with 100% commitment to concierge service, with diligence, and with supreme loyalty.

She does not utilize an assistant. When you work with her, you get her, not second best. When buying or selling a home, I wouldn't work with anyone else. You want her leading your team.

Oh, and a P.S. - I forgot to mention - Laura's husband, Steve LeMenager, is a professional college admissions consultant, who owns and runs his own company, Edvice, on Nassau Street in Princeton. Former Director of Admission at Princeton University for decades, and an honorary member of Princeton University's Class of 1983, he now counsels families on the college and university admission process, helping them to navigate what has become an increasingly complicated and confusing process. He just completed 10 years of service to the Board of Trustees at Stuart Country Day School, having served as Chair of the Board. Laura and Steve have one son, who is currently a freshman at Princeton Day School, two dogs, (yes, both terriers), and she has a white Norwegian Fjord horse, named Silas, who is really more like a large dog. Laura, herself, has served on the Board of Trustees of the Arts Council of Princeton, is very involved as a volunteer at Princeton Day School, and is the current President of the Board of Directors of The Whole Earth Center in Princeton, a non-profit natural foods store on Nassau Street, founded in 1970, on Earth Day.
