Marcia's family, originally from Boston, moved to Summerville, SC when she was a child. After graduating from Summerville High School, Marcia studied Microbiology and Biochemistry at Clemson University. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree, she returned to Charleston to work in the Pharmaceutical Industry. For 25 years, Marcia enjoyed a rewarding sales career working closely with physicians, pharmacists and nurses in hospitals, military facilities and private practice offices across SC. Marcia was consistently recognized on a national level for exceeding sales goals. Today, Marcia is pursuing a second career and life-long interest in real estate and is excited to join the sales team at Daniel Ravenel Sotheby's International Realty. She considers it an honor and a personal privilege to help you find the ideal primary residence, a perfect pied-a-terre, or an income generating rental. Marcia spent a year living on Kiawah Island before moving downtown in 1987. She found the perfect home in Ansonborough and has been an active member of the Historic Ansonborough Neighborhood Association (HANA) for more than 23 years. Currently, Marcia is serving her third term as a director. Previously, she served as HANA's Vice President. Additionally, Marcia has been a volunteer member of the Lowcountry Community Emergency Response Team since 2007. In her spare time, Marcia enjoys all the amenities that Charleston has to offer including wonderful restaurants, shopping on King Street, and spending time with family and friends, especially on the water. She is an avid reader and enjoys cooking, gardening, photography and staying active.
