Nonie Slaalien is an International Luxury Home Specialist at Stirling Sotheby's International Realty's Lake Mary/Heathrow Marketing Center.

A native of New England, Nonie literally grew up in the banking business. Working as a branch manager for a large mortgage company in Virginia, she was promoted to corporate trainer, a job that enabled her to travel all over the country.

Her exposure to the big picture---and an intense entrepreneurial drive---led Nonie to the launch her own mortgage company, which quickly expanded from Virginia to North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

In 2001 Nonie relocated to Alaqua Lakes in the Orlando area. By 2003, her mortgage company boasted 225 employees and $250 million annually in conventional, VA, FHA, and reverse mortgages.

Nonie sold her mortgage company in 2011 and became a consultant but it was then she decided to focus her energies and experience on real estate sales at Stirling Sotheby's International Realty.

Her specialty is globally marketing luxury properties.

Nonie has extensive contacts in the Northeast and specifically New York, where she still maintains a second home in New York City.

Her extensive background in the mortgage industry and as an entrepreneur sets her apart from real estate professionals around the world.
