A North Carolina native, Susan Chambers has over 12 years of experience as a sales and vacation rental broker at Maury People Sotheby's International Realty. She graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill and worked in advertising and marketing for ten years with Arnold Communications in Washington DC prior to a fateful vacation to Nantucket. She fell in love and moved her life to Nantucket in 1999. Becoming a real estate broker was a natural transition for Susan with her extensive experience in advertising, marketing and account supervision. She is a very successful member of the Sotheby's International Realty team and greatly enjoys the relationships she has established with her clients. A testament to her high level of professionalism, knowledge of the market and ability to make transactions happen is apparent in the high level of referral business she has generated. She is a gifted communicator and listener which have resulted in very happy clients who have purchased their dream homes. Susan has a strong background in 'Sconset but loves all areas of the island. She has been an avid fund raiser for breast cancer research and is the proud mother of Emma and Colton and their golden retriever, Adam. Her favorite beaches run along the South Shore, loves paddle boarding, cycling, swimming, water skiing, a vivacious reader and loves cooking with her husband, Sam. She feels very lucky to call Nantucket her home!
