A combination of tide and currents make this uninhabited 560 acre island a splendor of nature and one of the most desirable private, out-islands in the Turks and Caicos. Dellis Cay is a few miles from the main island of Providenciales and accessible by a 20-minute boat ride. The island attained its name from the Dellis family who lived on the island and earned their living sponge-farming in the 1950s. Dellis Cay is located between Parrot Cay and Pine Cay, both of which are established luxury private island resort communities. Launching a host of villa and condo offerings designed by world-famous -architects in 2006, the original European developers partnered with luxury operator Mandarin Oriental to manage the island’s slated hotel and residences. Breaking ground in 2008, the project has been immobilized since late 2009. The offering is now available for future investors and is comprised of approximately 200 acres (87% of the island’s freehold acreage) and partially completed residences and minimal infrastructure listed at a fraction of the original invested value. Star architect Piero Lissoni designed the existing partially completed residences and condominium buildings. A reconsidered Dellis Cay promises a unique acquisition to procure and a vision to resurrect. Further inquiry and consultations can be arranged with our listing agents.
