Bettie Wysor was born, raised and educated in Virginia. Her career has been spent in Manhattan and the Hamptons engaged in diversified creative activity. She has been a playwright, novelist, journalist, editor of Washington Lobby paper covering the Commerce Department and the Hill, award-winning advertising copywriter and television writer and producer. The last 15 years she has been a real estate broker in the Hamptons, and those 15 years have given her an intense grasp of the market and a philosophy of selling. Bettie understands that buyers are vulnerable and sometimes uneasy trying to make a decision that deeply affects their lives. She also knows that one needs to be sensitive to sellers, who often love their houses and don’t really want to sell. She believes that real estate can be one of the most rewarding investments to be had today, and choosing a sympathetic broker is essential.
