Maggie came to the United States from Scotland where she was born and raised. She lives in Georgetown and represents distinctive properties throughout the Washington Metro area.
Her career in real estate has spanned 4 decades. She has purchased, renovated and resold properties in DC and Maryland very successfully for her own account. She has a keen eye for "good bones" and can assist sellers and buyers alike in making sound decisions. Her background in design gives her an advantage along these lines.
An old-line family owned business Shannon and Luchs, is where she got her start in the business of real estate. Her late husband Foster Shannon, was President and CEO of the company, so much of her adult life was spent moving in real estate circles.
In 2010 she sold the highest priced property in DC at that time for $15,000,000.00 followed in 2011 by yet another property in the same price range.
With each situation, Maggie brings follow through and diligence to her clients. She has a profound knowledge of prices and opportunities in the DC and surrounding Maryland and Virginia.
She graduated from Junior College in Edinburgh, Scotland and was the first member of her very large family to venture out of her homeland to the US.
