Originally from West Palm Beach, Melissa is a third generation Floridian with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Her husband and Venice native, Kelly Caldwell of Caldwell Trust Company, is who led Melissa to Sarasota County, but their mutual love for this Gulf front community is what keeps their family here. Becoming involved in the community is important to Melissa. "It is important to give back. I consider living in this community a privilege and have made a commitment to help it prosper." Outside of work, The Caldwells and their three boys enjoy boating, fishing, diving, and spear fishing.

After moving to Sarasota County in 2002, Melissa received her Real Estate License and joined the Area Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. As a sales associate with Premier Sothebys International Realty, Melissa is known for her strong marketing skills, great communications and keeping her customers informed both before and after every sale. "In a tough market, a detailed marketing plan is key. I have to be able to think outside of the box and not only use traditional marketing, but also non-traditional marketing. As technology advances, so must a marketing plan and have committed myself to offering the best service to my customers which means always staying ahead of the curve in technology."
