Lindy Jacks has been an active real estate agent for 30 years, the last 12 with Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty.

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Lindy attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. During vacations from college, Lindy worked with interior designers in a large company, which gave her an understanding of the coordination of space, light, furnishings and color. This has been a tremendous asset in her real estate career when showing homes.

As an active community member, she worked as a volunteer at Westchester Medical Center, with emotionally disturbed children. Lindy was also a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for 12 years with the Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps, serving at various times as Vice President and President. She met many local residents during this time who later became her clients and customers.

Lindy resides in a cooperative apartment building where she has been President of the Board of Directors at various times. In that capacity, she mediated problems between residents, worked with contractors and negotiated contracts. She also worked briefly as the secretary to a real estate attorney. Both experiences reinforced her ability to provide absolute privacy and trust, which she extends to all her clients and customers, as well as attention to every detail.
