Born in Fayetteville, AR, and raised on a corn & soybean farm near Bloomington, IL, Henry C. Lystad originally relocated to Telluride in 1991. In 1992 he married the most beautiful woman in the world and after 19 years of marital bliss, is also the proud father of 4 amazing children.

A real estate professional since 1991, Henry helped establish Telluride's largest vacation rental firm, where, in addition to ownership responsibilities, had acted as managing broker of Telluride Resort Real Estate since 2001. Also licensed in Florida, Henry has a specialty knowledge of resort/investment property that can only be acquired through his 19 years as an active participant in his vacation rental management company.

In his spare time, Henry is slowly re-acquainting himself to tennis, having attended the University of Illinois-Springfield on a tennis scholarship. In the late 1980's, he explored the world of professional tennis by participating on various levels of the tour, but to his dismay, realized that his true calling was as an entrepreneur, not a top level tennis athlete! He also enjoys fly fishing, running, hiking and mountain biking.
