Marjorie Galen has lived in Rockland County for more than 20 years, raising her two children in Palisades. Marjorie brings financial acumen acquired through work in the music business and a creative eye from her work as a published craft book author and photographer. Currently living in her third 19th-century house in Rockland, Marjorie combines her love of the Hudson Valley's historic houses with a keen interest in modern architecture, art, and furnishings. She is enthusiastic about each house's unique details, and loves the process of matching a family with a property. She is very involved in the community through her work, hobbies, involvement in local politics and as a trustee of the Palisades Free Library, and through her children, now college students at Columbia University and Brown University, who attended the South Orangetown public schools. Marjorie's 2014-2015 house sales totaled over $13 million, something she's proud of in this still recovering market.
