Instrumental in bringing Sotheby’s International Realty to Hawkes Bay, franchise holder Fraser Holland takes up the role of Managing Director. Born and bred in the Bay, Fraser has a business degree in marketing and 20 plus years’ experience in senior sales, marketing and general management roles in London and Wellington.
His previous employers include international advertising and creative agency Ogilvy, where he held the role of Deputy Managing Director. Prior to this, as General Manager Commercial for the New Zealand Rugby Union he was responsible for the commercial, marketing and communication activities for the All Blacks, successfully negotiating major contracts and servicing brands such as Adidas, MasterCard and his first employer Lion Nathan.
Returning to Hawkes Bay in 2010, Fraser joined long-time friend Simon Tremain as General Manager of Hawkes Bay’s leading residential real estate agency, Tremains. During this time, he led a large team and was responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the sales process, marketing, and customer service.
He’s excited about the entry of this premium global real estate agency to the market. “Sotheby’s International Realty offers vendors another choice; a new way to sell their property that up until now has not been available – one with true global reach bringing new eyes and interest to Hawkes Bay.”
“Marketing to local, national and international buyers through our global networks and sothebysrealty.com will ensure maximum exposure for the vendor. It’s a strategy that works successfully throughout the world and we are excited we can now offer it here,” he adds.
Fraser will bring his commercial and business acumen, strong marketing focus, along with his reputation for leading highly successful customer focused teams, to Sotheby’s.
He notes that “Sotheby’s International Realty will be a small, highly experienced team of sales and marketing professionals who will deliver only the very best service to clients.”
“I’m looking forward to this challenge; maintaining the very high standards set by a respected international organisation steeped in such a rich history.”
