There are two docks serving the island, one of which is a deepwater dock. The two main residences rest on a hilltop, offering stunning panoramic ocean and sunset views. A separate one bedroom cottage with kitchen and bath sits on a picturesque point with views of the marina. Several quarters for caretakers, including a 2 bedroom, 2 bath pilot and security unit. At one time, Children’s Bay Cay was owned by Jessica Tandy and Hume Cronyn who spent considerable time developing the island. They were able to produce pineapple, grapefruit, mangos, papayas, oranges, and limes, and had their own coconut grove. Other features include: an 8000 gallon a day R/O system, a power plant with 3 generators, 580 kw combined provide electricity to all buildings and marina.
