Lise Thompson

Profissional de Mediação Imobiliária em Pennington, Nova Jersey
Estados Unidos

A fifth generation Princetonian and graduate of Cornell University, Lise lives in the Sourland Mountains with her husband and daughter. Real estate is literally in Lise's blood. The year she was born, her father started Thompson Land, which would grow into one of New Jersey's largest private land investment firms. Lise has worked in almost every aspect of the real estate business - sales, construction management, design and restoration, appraisal, and land preservation. In recent years, that real estate tradition expanded into a passion for the environment. She has helped to preserve over 800 acres in the Sourland Mountains partnering with landowners, land trusts and municipalities. A trustee of the New Jersey Chapter of The Nature Conservancy since 2005, Lise is dedicated to a whole-systems approach to land conservation that develops an understanding of humanity's role in the health of the natural system of which we are all a part. After two decades of specializing in the restoration and preservation of eighteenth and nineteenth century houses and farms, Lise founded Conservation Development, LLC in 2004, an alternative development firm committed to regenerating the ecology, economy and spirit of a community by connecting people to their place. Lise and her husband, Robert Brander a designer-builder, were featured in The New York Times and Country Living magazine for their green restoration of the James Dean House (c.1860), a "new-old hybrid" located in the historic village of Rosemont, NJ.
